Ros Canter Eventing

Izilot DHI made the journey out to Germany for the five-star. Things started really well with a 24.9 dressage score putting him comfortably in the lead.

The weather on cross-country day was ‘challenging’ but fortunately Ros had her clear round in the bag before the course had to be stopped for 20 minutes as squally winds and torrential rain passed over the showground. ‘Isaac’ was pretty much foot perfect throughout, and went into the show jumping with a two fence lead over the field.

Unfortunately, totally uncharacteristically, he lowered those two rails and added two time penalties, dropping down to fourth place. Still a great result though, and Isaac continues to develop and be more settled.
