Ros’ few days at Houghton couldn’t have gone any better. She was riding both Shannondale Nadia and Izilot DHI in the 3*L, with one horse in either of the two sections. Izilot DHI, owned Alex Moody and Ros, posted a marginally better dressage score – 22.1 versus Sharon Bayston’s Shannondale Nadia with a 23.7, and both held the lead at the end of the dressage phase.
Clear inside the time across country, Ros was the last to showjump in both classes. Finishing one second over the time allowed on each, it was a win for both horses.
“They are both really exciting horses for the future,” Ros said. “Shannondale Nadia has taken a little bit of working out but she’s the most genuine mare. Neither put a foot wrong this week.”
